lastminute.com group aims to boost content offering and audience reach with acquisition of WAYN
lastminute.com group announced today that it has acquired WAYN, Where Are You Now?’ to implement a content factory within the Group and differentiate lastminute.com positioning against other online travel players.
WAYN, the world’s largest social travel network, will be integrated with lastminute.com group’s new media business, the “Travel People”. This marks the next step in its ambitious strategy to implement a diversified and integrated Travel & Media model.

lastminute.com group has announced a partnership with Bat Sharing, the urban mobility app which allows consumers to find the best solution to reach a destination comparing all available shared mobility providers for cars, scooters and bicycles as well as taxis, including Uber.

Bravofly Rumbo Group acquires Map2app to broaden its mobile offering
In its effort to broaden the company’s competences in the mobile segment as well as its wallet of innovative services and products, Bravofly Rumbo Group has acquired Map2app, the start-up founded in 2012 which has developed a best breed technology solution that allows its customers to create low – cost mobile travel app quickly, dynamically and with no specific technical skills required.

For its third edition, Seedstars World has partnered with lastminute.com group to launch a “Travel Track”, held in parallel with the original Seedstars World competition. Seedstars World organised local pitching events in more than 30 countries to select the best travel startups. lastminute.com group invested up to USD 500k in the winner of the competition and will bring its knowledge and powerhouse to support this investment.
